I give my full support to this issue due to the fact that no one else owns the right to make any changes except for the nation/people using it.Every language in this world bears the same value, not more no less.If used by the whole world or used by 2 million or 2,000 people.No one owns it!
If it has survived centures it will survive this century too!

Shame to all European countries,NATO and others involved!

Small country like Macedonia , left alone to fight against enemy of her - Greece !And shame to Greece that are twisting whole history of Macedonia and Balkans claiming that Macedonia and all tributes belong to them.What a shame !
Just ask for proof , you will find them everywhere on the territory of today's Macedonia. Look at history of Macedonia prior to being divided into 4 parts and by whom ? Same countries that are now declining to solve problem made by themselves !
And after all that happened , Macedonia is not asking much - just let us make our own life and live like any human on this planet.
Is this that much ?
Name is our own - Makedonija ( Macedonia for international usage).
We are proud of it , so many have died for it.Shall we do same now in order to prove who we are indeed?
Long live Makedonija , mother of ours!

My country is named Republic of Macedonia, my origine is macedonian, my native language is macedonian and nowbody around the whole world hawe no right to discriminate my childrens, my people and myself. I require from UNESCO and all international comunity to recognise me only like Macedonian, because i newer will accept to be renamed as a "North-macedonian" and all stupidities!

It is time to recognize the Republic of Macedonia under its constitutional name.
Please do not discriminate any longer against the choice and the will of the Macedonian people.

Macedonians were Hellenic people. Skopians are a Slav people who invaded the Balkans in the 6th century AD. Skopians speak Slavo Bulgarian language and have no relationship to anything Macedonian.

I propose they name their language Vardaski and their country Vardaska.

Macedonians don't bite...well not yet anyway :)

Let's clear something up first. When you use the term Vardar or any derivative you are refering to the river that runs through the heart of Macedonia. It is not a descriptor for a nation. We simply identify as Macedonian. I know it hurts, but you are going to have to do your best to overcome your prejudices and accept the truth that you Greeks only marched into Salonika in 1913 and it was not until the late 1980s that your government commenced using the name Macedonia for the most northern province as opposed to Northern Greece. Whereas for us it has always been Macedonia and always will be for that matter.

What are you afraid of #464?

Skopians are nothing more than uneducated Slavic liars. Their existance is based on nothing, but historical falsifications and lies. No academic accepts them as "Macedonians" because they are Slavs. Macedonians were not Slavs. Macedonians were Hellenes who spoke Hellenic. Participated in the Hellenic Olympic Games and worshipped the Gods of Mount Olympus like Zeus, Apollo, Athena, Hera, Aphrodite.
